The USC Bovard MSPM program stands out from other USC professional studies programs due to the practical knowledge inherent within the discipline and the high demand for practitioners in the project management space. Overall, I highly recommend the USC MSPM program to anyone seeking to enhance their project management skills and advance their career. I am personally content with the MSPM for now as it has provided me with ample opportunities to advance my career to the next level. The program flew by quickly, thanks in part to the knowledgeable instructors and engaging cohort of students that included individuals from Google, NASA-JPL, Amazon, and other blue-chip corporations.Īlso, I know of a few MSPM students who were able to leverage their MSPM degree in a way that set them up to attend the USC MBA program. I also appreciated the reasonable pace of the two-year program, which allowed me to balance my job and academic commitments effectively. The USC MSPM program helped me refocus on practical and business-focused knowledge, and I was able to apply the concepts I learned directly to my work, including requirements elicitation and business analysis, cost estimation and forecasting, agile project management methodologies, and project/program/portfolio management. The USC program significantly strengthened my academic background, especially since I attended a non-target school for my undergraduate studies with a major that falls within the social sciences.

The degree played a crucial role in helping me land the new role. However, after graduation, I successfully transitioned to a different industry and secured a job at a Fortune 50 firm, with a noteworthy 133% increase in compensation. Prior to enrolling in the program, I worked in project management for a Fortune 500. It proved to be an invaluable investment in my professional growth. I completed the Master of Science in Project Management program at USC, which is accredited by PMI.
